Web chat with Dr Stephen Ladyman MP
This road safety webchat with Dr Stephen Ladyman was held on November 9 2006
As Road Safety Minister I am proud that we have one of the best road safety records in the world. But every life lost on the roads is one too many.

On Thursday 9th November I was pleased to take part in DfT’s first webchat on road safety.
We had a lively and interesting debate and discussed a range of road safety topics including young drivers and driving for work. Members asked questions about road safety education and training, the Road Safety Act and motorcycle safety amongst other topics.

“RoSPA Members are commited to improving road safety and we are delighted that they have been given this exciting opportunity to put questions directly to the Minister.
